3.1 PC Banking
PC Banking is one of the e&banking ser'ices being offered b( the Bank.. )his allows two&
wa( communication between the Bank and its Corporate* +etail and Commercial
Customers and gi'es the client access to download the information of their account"s$
both in Pak +upees , Foreign Currenc( to their desktop PC through a dial&up
connection.
3.2 Flexi Loans
)hese are 'er( economical personal loans a'ailable to salaried persons. )hese were
introduced in !ecember -.... /mplo(ees of more than -0. public and pri'ate sector
organi1ations ha'e access to them. )he( are pro'ided for domestic purposes. )enure of
loans is 2- months* -3 months* 45 months* 36 months , 5. months.
3.3 Master Credit Card
)he product range of HBL also includes credit cards. )hese ha'e been introduced
through an agreement with aster Card 7nternational. )hese cards are used to pro'ide
'er( short&term high turno'er ad'ances to preferred customers. 8 limit is imposed on the

amount of borrowing and mark&up is charged accordingl(. )he HBL aster Card
operations are handled b( the Credit Card !epartment of the bank.
3.4 Hai Bank !eit Card
7n addition to pro'iding access to 2&Link & the largest 8) network in the countr( & now
Habib Bank 8uto Cash can also be used as a !ebit Card at o'er a thousand merchants
across the countr( to make eas(* con'enient and secure pa(ments. :ow (ou don;t ha'e to
carr( cash for (our purchases. <ust keep the Habib Bank !ebit Card with (ou to get
an(thing (ou want.
3." Hai Bank #alue #isa !eit Card
Habib Bank =alue !ebit Card is a secure and con'enient pa(ment tool. 7t is linked to the
personal Habib Bank account of the customer. >hen the customer;s uses =alue Card at
outlets for pa(ment of dail( purchases* the exact purchase amount is deducted from their
personal Habib Bank account.
3.$ Lockers
8part from pro'iding regular banking facilities to its customers* the bank also pro'ides
locker facilit( to the customers in order to enable them to secure their 'aluables. )he
bank earns income b( charging an annual rent for their use.
)his facilit( has the following features:
Locker is operated under dual control. ?ne ke( is deli'ered to customer and the
master ke( remains with the locker&incharge.
Lockers can be operated either singl( or @ointl(.
)he bank purchases insurance of one (ear for the locker.
7f the locker ke( is lost* customer informs the bank in writing and reAuests for
break opening of locker. Bank initiates break opening after reco'ering bank
charges.
)his facilit( can be surrendered easil( b( filling Surrender Form. Be( deposit is
refunded after reco'er( of up to date rent.

7f a customer becomes defaulter and period of o'erdue rent surpasses 26 months*
break opening of locker is initiated and charges are reco'ered b( selling the
articles.
3.% Letter of Credit &L'C(
Pakistan is a de'eloping countr( and like other de'eloping countries its imports exceed
its exports. )he bank offers import letter of credit* which pla(s an important role in
helping the Pakistani importers to pa( in foreign exchange.
8 L#C is an instrument or document issued b( a bank on behalf of a customer*
authori1ing a beneficiar( to draw a draft or drafts or sometimes without the reAuirement
of draft"s$* which will be honored on presentation b( the bank if drawn in accordance
with terms and conditions specified in L#C.
3.) Bank *uarantee &L'*(
7t is a contract to perform the promise or discharging the liabilit( of a third person in case
of default.
8 guarantee ma( either be issued for an indefinite period or with a proper 'alidit( period.
7f guarantee is in'oked and consented b( the customer* a pa( order is sent to beneficiar(
along with a co'ering letter showing full particulars of guarantee. Beneficiar( returns the
L#% which is dull( cancelled and kept in respecti'e closed file.
