Important: All documents must be submitted as instructed for your country of education. Carefully review what and
how to submit your documents. Failure to adhere to these requirements could delay your credential
evaluation/assessment.

HIGHER EDUCATION
What to Submit How to Submit
1. Clear, legible photocopies of all final or provisional
degree certificates issued by the institutions attended
e.g. Bachelor, Master, Master of Philosophy,
Postgraduate Diploma
AND
To be submitted to WES by applicant.
2. All individual mark sheets indicating all subjects taken
and marks obtained for all years of post-secondary
study issued by the institution responsible for
conducting the examinations.
e.g. university or autonomous college
NOTES:
College-issued and attested mark sheets will NOT be
accepted unless from an autonomous college. To check
whether your college has autonomous status click here.
Univ. of Mumbai and Gujarat Univ. Please see FAQs

Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to
WES by the institution responsible for conducting the
examinations

You may have photocopies of your original mark
sheets attested and dated by the Controller of
Examinations or Registrars Office. Please request for
the attested photocopies to be placed in an official
sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to
you to forward to WES.
NOTE: Mark sheets attested by persons outside the
Controller of Examination or Registrar's Offices, such
as individual professors or external notary publics, will
NOT be accepted.

3. Doctoral Programs
An official letter confirming the awarding of the degree

Bachelor of Physiotherapy,
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Please have photocopies of your original degree

Examinations or Registrar's Office. Request for the
attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed
envelope and have the envelope returned to you to
forward to WES.

STATE BOARDS OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION
What to Submit How to Submit
1. Clear, legible photocopies of all final or provisional
diploma certificates
e.g. Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Technology, or
any other 10+3 diploma awarded by a State Board of
Technical Education
AND
To be submitted to WES by applicant.
2. All individual mark sheets indicating all subjects taken
and marks obtained issued by the appropriate State
Board of Technical Education
Request for your mark sheets to be sent directly to
WES by the appropriate State Board of Technical
Education.
-OR-
You may have photocopies of your original mark
sheets attested and dated by the State Board of
Technical Education. Please request for the attested
photocopies to be placed in an official sealed
envelope and have the envelope returned to you to
forward to WES.
NOTE: Attestations by persons outside the state
boards, such as individual professors or external
notary publics, will NOT be accepted.

3. For all Diploma programs in General Nursing and
Midwifery:
Mark sheets issued by the appropriate Nursing Board or
Council
- AND -
Mark sheets issued by the Nursing School attended
indicating all theoretical study and clinical experience
Request for all mark sheets to be sent directly to
WES by the appropriate Nursing Board/Council and
by the Nursing School attended respectively.
- OR -
You may have photocopies of your original mark
sheets attested and dated by the appropriate
Nursing Board/Council and by the Nursing School
you attended. Please request for the attested
photocopies to be placed in an official sealed
envelope and have the envelope returned to you to
forward to WES.

SECONDARY EDUCATION
If you have completed one or more years of post-secondary study, you do not need to submit any secondary
school documents with your application.
What to Submit How to Submit
1. Statement of Marks or Certificate of Examination issued
by the appropriate Examination Board
e.g. Higher Secondary Certificate, All India Senior
School Certificate, Intermediate Public Examination
Certificate, or any other 10+2 certificate awarded upon
completion of higher or intermediate secondary
education
Request for your Statement of Marks or Certificate of
Examination to be sent directly to WES by the
appropriate Examination Board.
- OR -
You may have photocopies of your original documents
attested and dated by the appropriate Examination
Board. Please request for the attested photocopies to
be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the
envelope returned to you to forward to WES.
NOTE: College issued mark sheets will NOT be
accepted. Documents must be issued and attested by
the appropriate Examination Board.

Important Notes - Please Read:
Documentation:
Some academic institutions can take several weeks to provide transcripts. Applicants are strongly
encouraged to request their transcript(s) as early as possible.
All documents are subject to verification by WES.
All documents become the property of WES and will not be returned or released to the applicant.
WES only evaluates credentials earned through formal academic training. Applicants should not submit short-term
professional development courses or other non-formal, non-academic training documents. These types of
documents will not be evaluated or included in the WES evaluation report.
Name on an Evaluation:
A WES evaluation report is always issued under the name indicated on the academic record(s).

If applicable, applicants must submit proof of name change for identity verification purposes (e.g. please submit
clear and legible photocopies of a marriage certificate or other official document).
Please do not send original documents. Original documents that are not requested by WES will not be
returned and will be discarded.

Please submit an application before your documents are scheduled to arrive at WES. Without an application
on file, WES will be unable to process your academic records or confirm that they have been received.
