ABSTRACT

This study is an outcome of the title called A study on relation between technology
and work stress with special reference to Genuine Infotech solutions, Trichy.
Techno stress is the negative psychological link between people and the introduction
of new technologies. Whereas ergonomics is the study of how humans react and physically fit
with machines in their environment, techno stress is a result of altered habits of work and
collaboration that are being brought about due to the use of modern information technologies
at office and home situations.
Sample size of 100 employees were selected using simple random sampling method
and a well structured questionnaire was framed in order to extract the required information
from the respondents.

Questionnaires were collected through personal interview. The various statistical
tools like percentage method, chi square test and correlation were used in this study. And
findings and suggestion were given accordingly.
