ELECTRONICS FOR YOU EXPO 2013 VISITORS / BUYERS
Buyers' Feedback
The concept of the buyer-seller meetings is good. We
could get 4-5 good alternatives and we are in touch with
those vendors for business opportunities to materialise.
Something that I really liked about the show was
the choice of vendors. Some of the vendors were RoHS
certified, which increases the trust value of the deal.
We were looking for the raw materials for
our products at this show. We leveraged the
EFY Expo to find some good alternatives to
our existing vendors. With these in hand,
we are sure we will be able to strike better
deals henceforth.
Shailesh Mishra, head,
Technical Regulations, Panasonic
Avinash Deshmukh, senior manager,
Imports, Videocon
We had some requirements related to electronic
components, for which we already deal with some
vendors, but I was looking for some alternatives
to break their monopoly. There were some really
good offerings for the consumer segment and I did
find some alternatives. We are currently in the
midst of discussions.
Mayank Mishra, project manager, DRDO
I was looking for stencil makers, reflow ovens and
some connectors at the EFY Expo 2013. The show
proved extremely fruitful for me as I could find
some good alternatives. I got an opportunity
to know about the latest in the industry. I am
working with some vendors and will be able to
bring things to a conclusion soon.
Bhamidimarri Bharati Swaroop, director,
Rotavio Labs Pvt Ltd
The exhibition was very useful for us.
It was a perfect platform for businesses to
grow with the right business partners.
From our perspective, it was a platform
where we met a lot of prospective and
potential business partners, with whom we
could explore avenues to grow the business.

A demo of a
live SMT Line
For the first time in an
Indian expo, the industry
witnessed the demo of
a live SMT line for
manufacturing electronic
products. The demo was
open to all visitors and
was one of the key
attractions at the EFY
Expo. The strength of
the SMT industry was
also showcased through
this activity.
T&M India
The best of the
Test & Measurement
industry was
showcased at T&M
India, which was
co-located with
EFY Expo 2013.
More than 20 T&M
suppliers and brands
participated here.
The DeitY lounge
The recently launched
policy on electronics
manufacturing was much
talked about at the expo.
A lounge was provided
for the representatives
from India's electronics
industry, so that they
could meet DeitY officials,
clear their doubts and
utilise the benefits given
by the government
of India optimally.

Exhibitors Feedback
Sunil Dhar, general manager, Renesas Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd
We are glad to be associated with the EFY Expo 2013. It has
served as a great platform to connect with our peers and
customers. This is our second engagement with the EFY Expo
and we wish and hope for more projects.
Shailendra Mathur, GM India, ASYS Group
We felt that the display of the live SMT line was an excellent and
earnest effort by the EFY Group. The show allowed us to display
our EKRA printer platform to new customers and also introduce
our laser marking equipment to the market.
Gurjeet Singh, director, Gill Instruments Pvt Ltd
The Expo has been excellent for us. In just three days,
we have received a lot of enquiries. This platform has given
us the opportunity to interact and communicate
with both academia and industry.
Prabhanjana Rao, regional sales manager,
Teledyne Lecroy-India, SE Asia and ANZ
Last year, we participated in the EFY Expo with a smaller booth,
which gave us immense visibility and hence, this year, we have
taken a bigger booth. I am happy with the enquiries that we
have generated.
Indraneel Mukhopadhyay, RS Components & Controls (India) Ltd
We were slightly sceptical with the response on the first day,
which we assume was due to the strike in Delhi.
However, the Expo picked up in the next two days and
we are quite satisfied with the footfalls.
N Chandramohan, country head (SMT division), Juki India Pvt Ltd Anil Bali, VP, Deki Electronics Ltd
It was a better show than last year. This show is certainly gaining
acceptance within the industry, which is good.
Raman Chawla, accounts manager, element14 India Pvt Ltd
We have received some decent enquiries from this
Expo. The first day witnessed fewer footfalls due to the
strike, but the crowds then gradually picked up.
We are satisfied with the response here.
The show was good there was a good response.
I am happy about the overall management of the show.
Sumit Sharma, marketing manager, India,
Good Will Instrument Co Ltd
We have generated good enquiries in three days. There are a
few distributors who have approached us and we are interacting
with them.
Prashant D Dhake, senior executive, Business Development,
Omega Electronic Scale Co Ltd
We got an overwhelming response at the show and have booked
quite a few orders. We are happy to see that many established
market players have participated in the Expo.
