WELCOME NOTE

Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees, Society of Chemists and
Technologists of Canton Sarajevo and the Faculty of Science in Sarajevo, it is our
great pleasure and honour to invite you to the Congress of Chemists and
Chemical Engineers of Bosnia and Herzegovina with International
participation, to be held in Sarajevo on October 10
th
-12
th
, 2014 in the Radon Plaza
Hotel. The Congress will cover different areas of chemistry and chemical
technology and offer an opportunity for scientists to exchange latest research
findings and ideas and develope a collaboration with colleagues from Bosnia and
Herzegovina and from all around the world. We cordially invite you to take part in
the Congress by submitting an abstract. We highly welcome contributions
covering the following topics:

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
Oral presentations
Oral presentations are planned to last no longer than 15 minutes followed by 5
minute dicussion.
Poster presentations
Poster presentations should be in size A0 (118,9x84,1cm)
* Each registered author may submit a maximum of two abstracts per registration
Submission of abstracts for either oral or poster presentations will be available
electronically through the congress web page which will be activated soon. Abstract
template will be available on the congress web page.

LANGUAGES
The official congress languages are Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian and English.







PUBLICATIONS, PROCEEDINGS
Abstracts
The abstracts in the English language will be published in a special edition of
Bulletin of the Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Indexed in
Chemical Abstract Service).
Accepted papers
Accepted abstracts might be selected for submittion as a full paper for publication
in Bulletin of the Chemists and Technologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Indexed
in CAS). Please indicate on your abstract whether you would like to have full paper
published if selected. The deadline for submittion will be November 1
st
2014.

PROGRAMME
The congress will start on October 10
th
in the morning and end on October 12
th

noon. The detailed program will be announced later.
