WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Punjab State Council for Science & Technology (PSCST), is looking for
dynamic and self motivated engineers who plan to pursue a career in the
industrial pollution control and energy conservation. Interested eligible
candidates may walk in for interview for the following posts:
1) Assistant Process Engineer (APE) 1 No.
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Environmental
Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Master Degree
in Chemical or Environmental Engineering would be given preference. Good
communication & analytical skills and exposure to computer will be an added
advantage.
Experience: 2 years industrial experience including one year in the field of
industrial pollution control/energy conservation. Candidate should have an
indepth knowledge of design, operation and maintenance of pollution control
devices, preferably with working experience of combustion process and
implementation of energy conservation measures in metallurgical units/brick
kilns/boilers etc.
Pay-Band: Rs.15600-39100 + 5400 Grade Pay + Allowances as per Punjab
Govt. + 12% EPF
2) Assistant Engineer (AE) : 1 No.
Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Environmental
Engineering with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA or GATE qualified.
Master Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering would be given
preference. Good communication & analytical skills and exposure to
computer will be an added advantage.
Emoluments: Rs. 16000/- p.m. + 15% HRA + 12% EPF
For posts at Sr.No.1 &2
Desirable : Knowledge of Punjabi Language.
Age Limit : Not above 38 years
Tenure: Contractual basis initially for one year likely to be extended based
on performance and co-terminus with the projects/work in hand with the
PSCST.
Only eligible candidates having requisite qualifications and experience may
walk in for interview in PSCST office on 17/06/14 at 10:00 A.M. for Sl.No.1
and on 18/06/14 at 10:00 A.M. for Sl.No.2 along with full biodata on the
prescribed Proforma available at our website www.pscst.gov.in and supported
with copies & originals of testimonials/certificates & latest photograph. The
Council reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning
any reason. The number of posts may increase or decrease as per
requirement.
