Descriptive card on the school

1. Historical background
Our practicum took place in Chawki high school which is located in
Zerktouni. the school was established in 1924. It was called first Lycee de
jeunes filles by the French protectorate, which means the school of young
girls , then it was devided into Elemantary school Muhammed Abdo in 1973
and the inner section was turned into boys and girls preparatory school
under the name of Abu Alqasem Alshabi. In 1973 the school received the
first troop of high school girls, branch of literature. Later on, in 1996 boys
were integrated into the school.
