Before Meeting (Building open at 2:30pm)
1) Decorate and setup room (tri-folds x2, door sign poster, robot books and robots on
display, door dcor?), get tub ready (fill with water)

2) AIG Camp Meeting 4:00pm-630pm
Pick up laptops (DELL not Mac), cameras, etc
Did you get $30 charger for EV3 battery packs from Toys R Us?
After Meeting
3) Make sure teacher laptop computers connect well with the smartboard
(or whatever video screen) so we can play videos, Powerpoints
4) download MINDSTORMS on laptop computers
5) Build EV3 robots, so kids just add to them (put pieces in labeled bags)
6) Put parts for Underwater Robot in groups
7) Get worksheets, powerpoints, laminated activities READY
8) Make sure terrain boards for Robots are ready (minefield, moon)
9) Check for ALL other materials and resources, adjust if something not working/missing

TRI-FOLD BOARDS (TRACY and SMT)

Purpose:
1) as a graphical overview of your lessons
2) an interactive teaching tool which you will use as part of your lesson
3) have all four lessons in your unit

Elements:
1) Title:
To Infinity (Lessons 1 & 2 Tracy) Blue shiny letters
And Beyond (Lessons 3 & 4 SMT) Red shiny letters
*Gray metallic wrapping paper for both backgrounds purple for most other letters on
board for both people
2) Attention Grabbing Graphics: (no specifics, just have pictures!!!)
3) Points to Ponder: (on respective boards) / medium-sized, directly from lesson
L1: Robopocalypse (history of robotics, robot-human interaction affecting society) p.27
- There are many factors that affect how a robot transitions from task to task.
