Russia Today
Russia Today presents 24-hour free news events and interviews from a
mainly Russian viewpoint. Generally speaking excellent and clearly-
spoken English.
BBC World Service
BBC (British Broadcastic Corporation) World Service has more correspondents and international
bureaux than any other news channel. It presents free news and current affairs programmes 24-
hours with a mainly British English accent and Western bias.
Al Jazeera English
Al Jareera presents news and current affairs non-stop from a Middle East perspective with videos
and podcasts. Not all of their content is free.
VOA Special English
VOA (Voice of America) offers non-stop free news coverage spoken in simple American
English with a core vocabulary of 1500 words and an American bias.
Press TV
This 24-hour, free English-language news service from IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran
Broadcasting) aims "to give a second eye to Western audiences."

The 8 English Parts of Speech
These are the words that you use to make a sentence. There are only 8 types of word - and the
most important is the Verb!
