The patented design
eliminates the need for a
ru((er hose to create a drain
path through the sealing compound. And contractors don:t need to wait for compound
hardening. They ;ust (uild a fi(er dam and pour in the sealing compound until it
overflows. <hen the compound stops flowing through the drain opening, the contractor
simply removes the temporary thread protector, installs the drain$(reather and the ;o( is
done. %nstallation is foolproof, appreciated (y electricians and inspectors ali=e.

"rain$Seal fittings minimize the passage of vapors and gases and prevent the passage of
flames from one portion of a conduit system to another, while draining any accumulating
moisture a(ove the seal.

Availa(le in trade sizes from >$6-inch to --inch, Type !" fittings are precision cast in
mallea(le iron with an optional hot dip galvanized finish.
