I'm a 2013 pass out girl....

after almost one year of coming out of college just felt like sharing my
experience here. Well i was just a 7 point someone !"#$% & In first year first time i got 7 point
something i crie' & i felt so guilty & I felt so humiliate'& i thought i will work har' next sem an'
impro(e my score. 2n' sem & 3r' sem till 7th sem i was still 7 point someone.I ha' like 3 make up
exams& classmates 'int speak with me properly )ecause of my low marks& e(en lecturers starte' to
gi(e a weir' look at me..i 'int care' i ha' confi'ence that marks is not ultimate there is some other
way to achie(e in life..*rien's an' parents tol' that I+m in(ol(ing too much into extra curricular
acti(ities than stu'ies&yes it was true& i was into almost all the stu'ent organi,ations in college -% .ut
it wasn't reason for my marks& i just hate' exams. I was technically soun' )ut no one knew this until
in 7th sem when i 'i' the )est an' uni/ue project in the 'epartment along with my team.*or this one
project i was researching from the start of the 0th sem& finally i pro(e' to all those ppl who ga(e me
that weir' look. I wante' to pro(e my self so the project was the result. Well our lecturers starte'
speaking an' treating to me (ery nicely. .ut then placements starte' then came the pro)lem& they
'int allow me to write many companies since i was a 7 pointer. I misse' many companies& I was
(ery goo' at aptitu'e so whiche(er company i write i use' to get into final roun'& there some
companies rejecte' me since i was not from !12I1 )ranch& some i coul'nt 'o well. $gain classmates
treate' me (ery )a'ly since i was the only girl who was not place' in class& )ut i want to tell our
lecturers use' to encourage me saying that I will get place' soon. Well 3th sem exams o(er an' the
placements en'e' i was still not place'44 5he real exams starte' then i use' to atten' off campus
'ri(es& e(ery week I use' tra(el to )angalore to atten' these 'ri(es.. there were thousan's of jo)
seekers for the same company 'ri(e. I saw so many failures yet i 'int gi(e up & i finally got my first
jo) in 6cto)er 2013 in a 'escent company& 1ince the joining 'ate was not near& i use' to try for
other companies& $n' in 7o(em)er i got my secon' jo) that too in one of the top 8 I5 companies& I
felt so prou' an' ecstatic then& that was the )est 'ay of my life an' now I'm working in this
company an' 'oing great here. I was a)le to pro(e e(eryone that marks is not only crtiteria to
achie(e in life. 1o 9y small suggestion to juniors in my situation 'ont get 'ipresse' if u 'ont get
goo' marks& try to impro(e ur score if it 'oesnt happen& start working on increasing your technical
an' practical knowle'ge& impro(e your soft skills an' face the worl'& you will )e winner. I'm
writing all these now since 201: )atch is out now& may )e this woul' help those who are not place'
yet.
I lo(e our college so much& the place where i got my first failure& first )ig success& first crush& )est
frien's for life& )est learnings an' experiences which i can use in my entire life. I learnt so many
skills from all those organi,ations i was acti(ely working with& I was the person who was scare' to
talk to anyone& )ut these organi,ations helpe' me get ri' of this weakness an' now I can speak so
confi'ently with anyone or e(en infront of a crow' too.. .unking classes an' working for the fests
were one of the ultimate memories..itching a)out teachers& gossiping& col' wars with frien's& fests&
e(ents many more to fill my memories al)um.
