Personal Summary
Highly organised; elected as a core committee member for various clubs and societies at Brunel
University and received awards for my work. Ability to work within a budget, proactive at using my
own initiative, exceptional at multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks, always knowledgeable of what needs
to be done and when by.
Excellent Communicator; ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a variety of people, a
strong and efficient problem solver through being a quick thinker and a delegator, excellent at
distributing information effectively. I stage managed productions throughout my university degree and
taught at various summer schools.
Hard worker; I am an enthusiastic, reliable and tenacious individual. In 2012 I summited Mt.
Kilimanjaro and fundraised 2,500 for Childreach International this process took commitment,
positivity, and creativity to meet the fundraising target.
Leadership & Teamwork; Volunteering during Freshers week and managing teams of 20-30 student
volunteers. I was awarded Team of the Year which recognised my motivational, delegation, and great
teamwork skills.
Vivacious: Utilised all opportunities to get involved at University, appeared in an online pilot web
drama with Rik Mayall and BBC director Paul Murphy, participated in clubs and societies, involved
myself with Student Union Volunteering opportunities. Im a pro-active and energetic person who
seeks to gain as many life experiences as possible.

Events Assistant August 2013 present

I am responsible for the research, planning, and delivery of major union and student led projects and
events.
The delivery of events to an audience of 15,000 students, developing strategies and approaches to
improve engagement within the student body.
Liaising and knowing how to tailor my approach with fellow staff members, students, and external
companies, strong working relationships with all those I communicate with and work alongside, often
resulting in using previous external companies again due to such a good relationship.
Heavily involved in the recruitment, assessment, training, coordinating and supporting of over 100
student volunteers.
Building ongoing relationships with student volunteers and engaging with them at various points
throughout the academic year in a highly positive manner.

Ability to give a students point of in various projects, pin-pointing what is appealing to the student and
remaining in touch with how students preferences change year on year.
Completing general administrative tasks with 110%, ensuring all departmental and financial
documentation is up to date, updating our equipment inventories, buying new stock, learning how to
store equipment properly, and working within a budget.
Confident in prioritizing my own work load independently but able to also give constant support to my
coordinator and fellow co-workers. Being the person that people go to when they need to get things
done.
Being viewed as the person to consult when other departments wish to plan events, being a team

university. Im always happy to go the extra mile as I am a committed individual who understands that
