Caution:
Always power meter with provided power supply when upgrading software. Keep
your meter plugged in and powered until the upgrade is completed and the meter
has rebooted and is showing the menu. Failure to follow these instructions can
cause damage to your meter.
Connect your meter to the provided power supply. Connect your PC to the meter using the
provided USB/RS232 cable. eave your meter connected to the power supply and to your
PC until all processes are !inished and the meter has rebooted and returned to normal
operation.
Start Meter Tool by clic"ing on the Meter Tool icon on your PC. #! you don$t have Meter
Tool you can download it at http%//www.&rima'(eters.com.
#! everything is properly connected you will see this con!irmation.
Clic" )* and you will see the menu.
&o change your list in!ormation you must !irst save it to your PC. +o this by clic"ing the Read
parameters button.

li"e but you (US& use .bin e'tension. #n the e'ample below we used 20090221.bin.

0hen the !ile is trans!ered to your PC you will see finished transfer data! Clic" OK.
1ow the list !ile is on your PC. &o edit this !ile press Edit parameters.
Choose the .bin !ile that you saved in the previous steps.

&he edit menu will open and you will be able to edit the list on your PC. 1otice the buttons at
the bottom o! the satellite list and the transponder list. Use these buttons to add and
delete satellites and or transponders. Clic" the Appl" button to save each change you ma"e.
0hen you add transponders you can also edit the re#$en%"3 S"mbol Rate and &olarit" in
the windows to the right.

(a"e certain you wait until the meter reboots and you see the menu on the meter B;<)R;
you power down or disconnect the USB/RS232 cable.
Press OK. &hat$s it. /ou$ve edited your satellite/transponder list and trans!ered it bac" to
your meter.
