Saturday's jam will be led by Midday Rambler Paul Schmidt. All players - beginners to pros - are welcome to participate. Both jams will be Iollowed by perIormances Irom regional musicians including Lee McBee, Danny Pound, Scott Tichenor & Bill Crahan, plus Pickett, Paul & Jeans with more TBA. There will be Iood and beverages, and prize giveaways too! The Store: Mass Street Music, about 45 minutes Irom metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri, was started by Jim Baggett, who also moonlights as an appraiser on the PBS series, 'Antiques Roadshow'. The shop is an anchor at the corner oI 14 th and Mass. Street in the musically rich college town and has grown Irom a one-man store to a staII oI 15 including 4 Iull time luthier/instrument repair staII. The store Ieatures a unique selection oI stringed instruments and accessories Ior acoustic and electric players and is also known Ior having one oI the best instrument repair departments in the nation. Renovations: The building renovations include an expanded electric guitar room with a larger 'loud' area Ior those who like to turn it up to 11. The Iirst room on the main Iloor now displays the store's acclaimed vintage and boutique acoustics alongside beginner and mid-level acoustics, with additional individual try-out rooms on the second Iloor.
