Learn & Share with One City Youth

OCY is the go-to resource for learning and sharing

related to children, youth, and their families.
One City Youth is the District of Columbias year-round programming for youth ages 5-24. Many
different government agencies and organizations partner together in this youth-focused
initiative so that events, camps, clubs, scholarships, etc. for youth are organized and publicized.
About One City Youth
One City Youth uses several social media platforms and
we encourage you to follow and actively engage One
City Youth online. Our three main platforms are the
following:
onecityyouth.dc.gov is the portal for all things children
and youth in the District of Columbia. The site features
programs and other information of interest to young
people. The site also features information for parents
and child- and youth-serving programs.
onecityyouth.blogspot.com complements the OCY
website with daily posts of events, favorite Tweets, links
to programs, shout outs of child- and youth-related
DC blogs and much more.
@onecityyouth (Twitter) supports partners by sharing
their information and promoting info posted on the
OCY website and blog.
For each platform, the office of the Deputy Mayor for
Health and Human Services will review each request to
post information. It may ask community-based organiza-
tions for more information and it may reject requests.
Direct questions or concerns to onecityyouth@dc.gov or
(202) 727-7973.
Note: The government will NOT post fundraising events on
any of these platforms. DMHHS has the right to decline
addition requests.
