VILLASEAL

1 Where to use:

Villaseal is a solvent free two component epoxy resin for applying ground- coat and pore filling coat
by making liquid applied membranes on bridges in systems according to RVS used under liquid
plastics- and polymer-bitumen-sealings.
Villaseal is free from water.
2 Technical characteristics:

Villaseal is water- and solvent-free, has low viscosity and a high penetrating capacity in the pores of
the substrates.
Villaseal has also good hardening reactions on watery substrates.
3 Applicaton recommendations:

Concrete substrates must be free of cracks, clean, free of oil, grease, any other loose material and
detached parts.
Adhesion to concrete has to be more than >1,5 MPa.
Villaseal can be applied on watery
surface. Rising damp has to be avoided. The average surface temperature and the air temperature
have to be more than +8C and less than +35C. The average surface temperature has to be 3C
more than temperature of dew point. Relative humidity has to be less than 80%. (These conditions
have to be kept during reaction time.)
4 Preparation of the product:

Villaseal is made up of two pre-dosed components. To avoid mistakes prepare only complete
components. The parts must be mixed together with a low speed mixer for 2 to 3 min. until a uniform
mix is obtained. Put the mix into another mixing tank and mix it again for short time.
5 Application of the product:
Apply Villaseal with a roller, next application can be done after 12 hours
time. If necessary sprinkle a layer of clean and dry Quartz (grit due to RVS,
etc).

1 Cleaning:

Tools used to prepare and apply Villaseal must be cleaned with alcohol immediately after use. After
hardening, the product may only be removed be using mechanical means.
2 Consumption:
The consumption depends on the thickness applied.
3 Packaging:

28 kg units:
Comp. A =21 kg in metal drums
Comp. B =7 kg in metal drums
4 Storage:

The product may be stored for 24 months in its original packaging in a dry place, and at a temperature
of at least +5C.
5 Safety instructions for preparation and application:

Component A is eye and skin irritant.

Component B contains highly caustic and harmful substances when inhaled.
If in direct contact with the skin, can produce sensitivity of the skin. Always
wear protective gloves and goggles and provide good ventilation when using
the product.
During application, make sure the working areas are well ventilated.
In case of contact with skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with running water and
seek medical advice (consult the safety data sheet).
Component A is dangerous for aquatic organisms do not dispose of the
product to the environment.
