Project plan
You have been tasked with the project of organizing a company offsite 2-day training session in which people
are brought in from different parts of the country. This entails everything from preparation, accommodations,
and facilities. (this is the first part of your Individual project.

Submit a 2- to 3-page Document that does the following:

Names the project
Briefly describes the project
Identifies potential stakeholders directly or indirectly involved
Specifies the overall objective and any outcomes for this project
Details how success will be evaluated
Highlights what is needed to ascertain the measurable organizational value (MOV) of this project.

You will need to make some assumptions (it is even encouraged) but the assumptions must be documented.
Submit a WBS Gantt chart project plan in Microsoft Project based upon the System Development Life Cycle for the
training project . Major tasks are to be the phases of the System Development Life Cycle:
FIRST: we need to set MS Project to view the project summary task so when you first open MS Project go to Tools ,
Options, Click the Advanced scroll down and you will find and be sure that project summary task is checked (it is a
little difficult to find). Then rename this task to be the name of your project.
The following should be your first tasks (major tasks).
a. Define Problem (deliverable is the Feasibility Report)
b. Analyze Situation (deliverable is the Requirements Document)
c. Design Solution (deliverable is the Specification Document)
d. Implement Design (deliverable is the Tested Product)
e. Support Product (deliverable is the Maintenance Plan)
Define subtasks for each major task. For example, Interview Users would be a subtask of Analyze Situation, Test Product
would be a subtask of Implement Design, and Train Users would be a subtask of Support Product. There should be at
least five subtasks per phase. Refer to the weeks lecture notes for ideas on tasks.
