PDP Guidance of COMPETENCIES LIBRARY
Terminology & Approach
Determine combination of skills, knowledge and behaviours. Behavioural competencies will be
defined by Job Family. In our case we will be focused only on technical competencies
Please keep on mind the National Development framework and try as much as possible to
respect 80 % OJL , 10 % of Formal course, 10% of Mentoring
Per activity, Clarify all tasks needed to be performed in order to acquire competencies. Try
to be specific as much as possible, as the tasks in where the associate is developed will be
assessed against every year.
Is able to explain the key concepts or principles relating to the technical competency and can carry out
some tasks related to the competency with close supervision
Is able to apply knowledge and understanding and demonstrates proficiency in carrying out most or all
tasks relating to this competency, but still requires some supervision.
Each competency and each task is defined in terms of levels. For the associate role we will be
focused on 2 levels
We will be focused on core and specialty competencies. The core ones should be mandatory
for all associates while the specialty ones are mandatory during the year of confirmation.
