The challenges that the Ritz-Carlton will face when they change the cultures are their
employees first: it would be hard to make the employees change their culture since culture
is based on their belief that they have on the company. The second challenge is to
maintain. Maintaining this new culture will be even harder under these conditions.
To maintain the new culture the Ritz-Carlton has to go through these steps:
Planning- Ritz Carlton has changed into a centralized management division
Organizing - Employees are more independent of their work
Leading- Training is provided for motivation purposes and job satisfaction
Controlling - Constant checking and control on internal and external operations
