David Morrice
Head, Contract Administration Policy, Crossrail
David Morrice is Head of Contract Administration
Policy with Crossrail where he is responsible for client
contract issues and decisions; prior to holding this
post he was Lead Procurement Manager for Crossrail
where his responsibilities included the approach to and
award of the Crossrail Design Frameworks and Design
Packages. David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor
with over 20 years experience in the management and
construction of major infrastructure projects in the UK,
particularly in rail.
David Philp
BIM Programme Director, Balfour Beatty
Balfour Beatty is a world-class infrastructure services
business that operates across the infrastructure
lifecycle. David works within the construction services
part of the business at the pre-construction stage. His
role is very much about bringing together integrated
teams to deliver solutions for customers that meet their
business objectives and can ultimately be built safely
and sustainably. David is also leading the innovation
drive, especially accelerating the adoption of virtual
design and construction (V.D.C.) and new data driven
processes & technologies such as Building Information
Modelling (B.I.M.) within the business.
Malcolm Taylor
Head Technical Support Services, Crossrail
Malcolm Taylor is Head of Technical Information with
Crossrail and his current responsibilities include: BIM
strategy; technical data management; EDMS document
control; GIS; and conguration management. He is
a Chartered Engineer - prior to his secondment into
Crossrail in 2009 he was Rail Director for AECOM
UK working on many UK and international rail
projects. Malcolm has over 30 years experience in the
design, construction and maintenance of large-scale
transportation projects in Europe, the Middle and
Far East, with a particular emphasis on railways and
metro design.

James Mather has been in private practice in
architecture since 1980, when he co-founded
Johnston & Mather, of which he is now principal.
Since 1995, he has taught management subjects
in construction, and for 13 years was director of the
Reading University Certicate in Construction Project
Management course. These days, he is director of the
RIBA Certicate in Construction Project Management,
and also teaches for the RICS in its short courses on
project management, and management strategy for
the College of Estate Management.
