N Nuisance Nuisance should be avoided or at least minimized by operators of establishments to ensure public safety and promote public health. I Issuance Issuance of Sanitary Permits, and health certificates and license (usually for health personnel) of employees guarantees safety for people.
T Training Personnel working under *public establishments should be knowledgeable and well-trained for safety purposes A Adequacy Facilities, space, ventilation, water source, lighting, etc., should be adequate for public use.
T Treatment Treatment includes sewage treatment and emergency treatment that should be acted upon by person-in-charge. I Inspection Periodic inspection of establishments includes the durability of construction, adequacy of facilities, qualifications of employees and maintenance of sanitation. Examination of water for possible contaminants should also be conducted periodically.
O Operations No establishments are allowed to operate without a sanitary permit issued by local health office.
N Noting Permits, rules and regulations, guidelines, notices and control measures should be seen publicly.
C Control Controls should be strictly done and implemented by the operator. It includes vermin and insect control, waste disposal, control of contaminants, control of possible hazards, and control of pollution.
