B. Developmental Activities:
1. Presentation:
a. Cielo has 10 flowers. She wants to give her mother and her auntie an equal number
of flowers. How many flowers will each of them have? Will there be a flower left
over?
b. Mother bought 7 bars of chocolate for her 2 children. How many bars of chocolate
will each child receive?
Group Activity: Answer the following word problem.
1. Troop A has 15 Boy Scout. During the camping the Scoutmaster asked them to group
themselves by 2s. How many groups will there be? Is there a Boy Scout without a
partner?
2. Jonels class is heading to the school bus for their class fieldtrip to the zoo. There are 12
girls and 12 boys lining up beside the bus. Can they be exactly paired by 2s?Is there a girl
or boy without a partner?
3. Rocky has 12 tennis balls. He wants to place an equal number of balls in 4 cans. How
many balls will each of the cans have? Will there be a ball left over?

2. Analysis/ Discussion:
Analysis and discussion will be done based on the result written on the board. Te teacher
must emphasize that even numbers are divisible by 2, while the odd numbers have
remainder f 1 when divided by 2.
