WATERSIDE ANGLING CLUB Rules 2014

RULE 1
The name of the club shall be Waterside Angling Club. Named 13/2/2010.
(Hereafter called the club.)
RULE 2 - Objects
To run and organise fishing matches & trips for the benefit and enjoyment of its
members, and to ensure the practice of fair angling at all times.
RULE 3 - Officers and Committee.
The Committee of the Club shall consist of a Chairman, Plus 2 other officers.
RULE 4
The committee shall be appointed for a period of one year at the A.G.M., at a date
and time to be announced.
RULE 5
All Committee members shall attend 2 meetings (two per season!).
RULE 6
The Club financial year shall be from 1st March to last day of February. Accounts
shall be available to the members at all times.
RULE 7
That any member desiring to make any alteration to the rules must give the
Chairman two weeks notice in writing prior to the A.G.M. and such alterations must
be duly seconded.
RULE 8
That all members of the club shall be entitled to vote on any resolutions at the
A.G.M.
RULE 9
That any person wishing to become a member should apply to the committee. A one
off joining fee will be paid at the current rate 10.00, and such subscriptions shall be
laid down by the club. Acceptance of membership shall be deemed as acceptance of
all the clubs rules. The club reserves the right to refuse membership at its discretion.

RULE 10
All members shall pay an annual subscription fee. Any change to the annual
subscription fees (10.00) shall be proposed by the committee of the club, and any
such proposals will require the endorsement of the members present at the AGM.
RULE 11
The clubs membership will commence on the 1st March each year.
RULE 12
Membership shall be limited to 22 full members.
RULE 13
Members are warned to ensure that they have a proper rod license to cover the
water they are fishing.
RULE 14
Fishery rules must be read in conjunction with club rules.
RULE 15
Fishing is not allowed in any other manner than with rod and line, or pole. No
member shall have more than one line in use at any time.
RULE 16
Barbless hooks must be used at all times.
RULE 17
Matches will start and finish on a whistle, NO bait must enter the water prior to this
time.
RULE 18
Matches pools will be 12.00 to members and non-members will be 20.00 inc pegging
and pools, non-members will not be eligible for the golden peg.
RULE 19
DODO, bungee and over shotting of shallow rigs are not permitted.

RULE 20
Non members can only fish if invited by a member, Maximum of twice per season.
RULE 21
The club will use a net limits set out by the fisheries, If no limit is in place the club will
impose a 50 limit, this can be exceeded if equally split. It is recommended that ALL
anglers carry and use 2 nets.
RULE 22
Any member who brings a fishing junior will draw 1
st
and the peg to their right (if
available) will be allocated to the Jnr.
RULE 23
A member who leaves before the end of the match their weight will not be counted for
their placing, unless committee member is notified before the start of the match.
RULE 24
No Pike will be weighed in.
RULE 25
Any member caught in breach of any rules will be given only one warning.
