User-driven
improvements
include all inlet
ports now at the
top of the Biogas
5000. It meets UK
and international
certification
standards
including ISO
17025, ATEX and
IECEx. Meeting
IECEx is a UK
first. Biogas flow
is measured in the
Biogas 5000 using
an attached
anemometer or a
Pitot tube. Flow
measurement
helps monitor
biogas production
rates. Operational
costs for the
Biogas 5000 are
reduced and fewer
replacement filters
are needed. User
calibration is really
easy with menu-

follow on-screen
instructions. To
suit users
worldwide the
extended

is now -10 to +50
degrees Celsius.

APCG
(Waters)
-GC capabilities for todays advanced MS technologies
APGC is an ionisation source for Xevo and SYNAPT mass
spectrometers. The ionisation is soft meaning that less fragmentation is
observed for many compounds when compared with techniques such as
EI. Reduced fragmentation can give higher sensitivity and specificity,
therefore simplifying pre-cursor ion selection in MS/MS analyses.
Waters Universal source architecture and EngineeredSimplicity
TM
means
that changeover from UPLC to GC is quick and simple. Since APGC is
not a vacuum technique equilibration time between techniques is kept to
a minimum. This means that analysis can be tailored to business
demands, maximizing up-time and instrument utilization.
Waters enhanced, unique MS technologies such as RADAR
TM
, MS
E
&
HDMS
TM
are now available to GC separations. Unlock the secrets of your
sample and make sure you have the widest possible coverage from your
analyses.
-Xevo TQ-S with APGC - Ultra Trace Quantification
Xevo TQ-S APGC equipped with unique StepWave
TM
technology, enabling
detection limits at ultra-trace levels. This allows compliance with
regulatory limits and the ability to inject less sample matrix, reducing
effects of contamination on the GC/MS system and therefore increasing
uptime. The unique source design offers high levels of
matrix tolerance and gives excellent injection to injection repeatability.
StepWave ion transfer optics and detection technology allow accurate
and precise quantification over the widest dynamic range.
-Xevo G2-S QTof with APGC Identify, quantify and confirm

the broadest range of compounds with GC
Many analyses cross the boundary between LC & GC. The Waters Xevo
G2-S QTof enables complete screening of samples using both ACQUITY
UPLC and GC separations. MS
E
allows the scientist to get exact mass
precursor and fragment ion spectra from every detectable component in
the sample, simplifying the identification of components.
Innovative geometry and ion detection system combine in the
QuanTof
TM
to enhance sensitivity and provide outstanding
chromatographic compatible mass resolution, matrix tolerant in
spectrum dynamic range, quantitative performance and mass accuracy.
Xevo G2-S QTof is designed for scientists who need to indentify, quantify
and confirm the broadest range of compounds in the most complex and
challenging samples.
-SYNAPT G2-Si with APGC Research grade, high-
resolution, ion mobility separations for GC
APGC gives access to high-end research grade, high-resolution, ion
mobility separations previously unavailable to GC users and provides a
range of unique experimental capabilities to make new discoveries
possible that are beyond any other analytical platform.
This combination of mass accuracy, resolution and ion mobility gives
unsurpassed levels of selectivity providing sample information never
before obtainable.
Superior separation is facilitated with high-efficiency T-Wave
TM
Ion
Mobility Separation which adds an extra dimension of resolution to your
analysis. This combination of leading edge technology makes a wider
range of experimental options possible than ever before, enabling you to
get maximum information from your sample.
SYNAPT delivers a third dimension to your analysis, proven to transform
your analytical perspective whatever the application.
Drying Cabinet

The drying cabinet
is applied for
the treatment (steaming
/ heating / cooling) ofspe
cimen (such
as test panels of wood
fiber materials) on a
laboratory scale.A
mold tray
with the specimen is
inserted into the
drying cabinet and then
thecabinet is
closed. The
specimen can be
admitted with steam and
/ or hot air orfresh air
depending on the
requirements. The heat
carrier air penetrates the
specimen by means
of forced
ventilation (fan). In
addition, saturated
steamcan be
sprayed. The
pneumatic cycle can
operate via butterfly
valves incirculated
or fresh air
mode depending on
requirements.
