teach our girls that if they speak with their mind, they can create the world they want to
see. Through this quote Robyn is expressing that all women should have the authority to
speak their minds in order to achieve most of their goals because most women are afraid of
how men might react. To speak directly is to confront directly. Woman should learn to
speak their minds directly to men because, by doing that, they are confronting them without
fear but with authority and bravery.
During the Modern Age, women have learned to speak their mind. In Puerto Rico,
most Puerto Rican women speak their minds without absolute fear and act superior to men,
which turns the natural law upside down. In contrast to the past, woman had to follow
orders from men without arguments even if they were abused, therefore, its important for
women to speak their mind because by doing that, they are showing self-respect and power,
and for this, women needs to be courageous because, as Martin Luther King Jr. quotes,
Courage is the power of the mind to overcome fear.
Puerto Rican women also tend to express ideas in order to make other people
understand them, in other words, by expressing well they achieve their goals. When woman

Century tried to express her ideas to men, most saw them as impractical and
many rejected them, but women ideas from the 20

and 21

Century has helped society
grow more economically, politically, and technologically. In multiple studies, it is known
that people who tend to speak clearly with their minds open are the ones thatll do whatever
it takes to achieve their goals.

someone is attentive to it, they will see it (21). This quote can express that if men were
attentive to what woman might say, theyll know what marvelous things come out of their
minds. When it comes to conversations of opposite sexes women tend to express their ideas
in a way that men love to hear in order to capture their attention and quickly express an
idea. When drawing someones attention while speaking it could accomplish an important
point of view. Often Puerto Rican women, while speaking to men, like to draw attention
just to be heard, and if a man interferes, the women may start a fight.
It is known that not all women have the right to speak their mind to men, even in
Puerto Rico some women are obligated to shut their minds and mouths and thats an act of
negligence act of men to the United Sates because theyre violating the First Amendment to
the United States Constitution, the Amendment that gives people the freedom of speech. In
all parts of the world, women should have the same rights as men do, both should be
equally the same. Therefore, in order to achieve equality, every woman has to turn natural
law upside down and show self-respect and power. Jostein Gaarder, author of Sophie's
World , stated that if a state that does not educate and train women it would be like a man
who only trains his right arm. Such is the law of life.
