Counselling Schedule For admission in Engineering Courses Only
Notification No. 66-BOPEE of 2014 Dated: 03-07-2014

All the shortlisted candidates given in the (Annexures I & II of List of candidates provisionally recommended
for counseling (PCM) placed on the BOPEE website www.jakbopee.org/jakbopee.net) are hereby informed that the
allotment of Discipline and Institution for Engineering Courses shall take place through counselling to be held as per
the schedule given below at BOPEE Office 4

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELLING & COUNSELLING SCHEDULE
All the shortlisted candidates, whose rank is in the range specified in the counselling schedule, must be
present personally in the counselling. They have to produce their Online Admit Card downloaded by them from the
BOPEE website, all Original Certificates/Documents as given on pages 24-28 under heading 13. COUNSELLING FOR
ALLOTMENT OF DISCIPLINE/INSTITUTION of CET 2014 Information Brochure, including Marks Card of 10+2, a set of
attested copies of these documents, and a non-refundable J&K Bank Draft of Rs. 1000 (Rupees one thousand) drawn
in favour of FA/CAO, BOPEE/HDFC Bank Challan of Rs. 1000 (Rupees one thousand).
The PCM candidates claiming benefit of Tuition Waiver Scheme (TFW) category under category codes 05 &
19 must possess original certificates issued by the respective Competent Authorities. The candidates without required
original certificates shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling. If a candidate is unable to attend the
counselling personally, he/she can be represented by his/her duly authorized representative with Letter of Authority
from the candidate as per the format given on page 70 of CET-2014 Information Brochure.
The latest Seat Matrix will be displayed at BOPEE office, Srinagar and Jammu respectively during the
counselling as per the Schedule given above and on BOPEEs websites during the period of counselling. The
counselling for allotment of Discipline and Institution shall be held strictly in accordance to the guidelines given in
Information Brochure-2014. The allotment of seats shall be made to the candidates on the basis of their merit/rank,
choice and availability of seat at the time of counselling. The candidates are advised to go through the seatmatrix in
order to weigh their chance of selection in any particular course.
Note:
1. Mere mention of a rank in the counseling schedule will not accrue any right to the candidate who is not
otherwise eligible. All the reserved category candidates whose ranks are given in the schedule have been
enlisted subject to verification of their category certificates. Where a category certificate is found invalid, the
concerned candidate shall not be considered for counseling/selection.
2. Candidates belonging to prescribed reserved categories and included in the Short List for open merit can
exercise their option for admission under Rule-17 of SRO-294.
3. In case where some candidates among the candidates called for counselling on a particular day cannot be
counselled on that day due to shortage of time, those candidates shall be counselled next day from 9:00 A.M.
onwards first on priority.
4. For relevant and updated information, candidates must visit the BOPEEs website before and during the
entire counselling period.


Registration time for counselling is from 9:00 A.M to 10:30 A.M.

The candidates have been called for counseling in excess to actual number of seats. The counseling these
candidates will come to an end once all seats are exhausted.

COUNSELLING FOR ADMISSION TO PRIVATE (ENGINEERING) COLLEGES WILL BE CONDUCTED SUBJECT TO THE
APPROVAL/AFFILIATION GRANTED TO THEM BY THE COMPETANT REGULATING BODIES. THE COUNSELLING
SCHEDULE SHALL BE MODIFIED ACCORDINGLY IF REQUIRED.
