Supporting Economic Growth
Because of its community investment redevelopment
program, Yale University pays property taxes of $4 million
to New Haven each year, making it one of the citys largest
real estate taxpayers. Additionally, it makes a voluntary
payment of more than $8 million which helps to fund
services for residents all across the city.
Yale Universitys community investment redevelopment program creates
taxes and jobs for New Haven.
