PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with 59.5% share
ownership held by Astra International. UT manages the Groups heavy equipment and mining
business portfolio, which is divided into three main activities, namely construction machinery,
mining contracting, and coal mining.

In its construction machinery activities, UT caters to the countrys strategic sectors, including
the mining, plantation, construction, and forestry industries. Meanwhile, the mining contracting
operations run by UT subsidiary PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama), serve clients which are
mostly blue-chip mining companies holding concession rights in various locations throughout
the country.

Infrastructure and Logistics
Astra Groups infrastructure and logistic business is managed under three subsidiaries: PT
Astratel Nusantara (Astratel) and PT Intertel Nusaperdana (Intertel) for the infrastructure
business line, with a portfolio of projects comprising concessions for construction and
operation of toll roads, clean water distribution services and fuel storage facilities. In turn, PT
Serasi Autoraya (SERA) is an integrated transportation and logistic company with four business
lines, covering vehicle leasing and rental services under TRAC-Astra Rent A Car, used car sales
units Mobil88 and Ibid, logistics operation managed by SELOG, and public transportation
service with Orenz taxi.

In 2012, revenues generated by the infrastructure and logistic companies provided the amount
of Rp 6.5 trillion or 3% contribution to the Astra Groups total sales. Profit earned was Rp 683
billion or rising 13% from the previous year. This is in line with Astras strategy of business
diversification through its distinctive synergic value chain business model approach as the
holistic response to the national economic growth and higher disposable income in Indonesia.
