Dear Prospective Exhibitor,



The Tennessee Council of Teachers of English will hold its annual Professional
Development Institute (PDI) on September 26 and 27, 2014, at the Bridges Center in Memphis,
Tennessee. We are excited that the PDI is returning to the river city area! We invite you and
your company to exhibit your products at our PDI. The exhibits are an exciting part of the TCTE
meeting each year; English teachers from across the state will be anxious to see your offerings.
Our PDI targets teachers at elementary through college levels.
Exhibit tables are $250 each and will be assigned as reservations are received. If you
need an electrical outlet, we must know in advance. To that end, please be advised that there is
an additional charge of $25. Exhibits will be open Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. The
exhibit area will be locked or monitored by a security guard at night. The exact time schedule
will be finalized closer to the date of the PDI. Please note: TCTE is planning an exhibitors block
during which no other presentations are scheduled.
The reservation form is attached. Please return it as soon as possible to secure one of the
best spots in the exhibit area.
In addition to your exhibits, we invite you to sponsor a specific event such as a coffee
break or keynote speaker. Details regarding sponsorships of this nature are included on the
Exhibit Agreement form. As always, donations to be used as door prizes or for attendees
registration bags are appreciated.
Since the PDI is not being hosted at a specific hotel, you are able to choose from many
area hotels. Special room rates have been secured for conference attendees at the Crowne Plaza
and Sleep Inn Downtown. If you call either hotel, be sure to ask for the TCTE special rates.
Please know how sincerely TCTE appreciates and acknowledges your assistance and attention to
this organization and the teachers with whom you do business.
