Class Description
Overview This course is intended to provide a working knowledge of the
MotoMesh Duo product. Topics include: a product overview, RF fundamentals,
network design, network management, security, tools, installation and deployment.
Hands-on lab exercises are included as part of the course to insure a
comprehensive working knowledge of the product.
After completing this course, the student will be able to
Explain the basic functions and architecture of mesh networks
Describe the architecture and components of MotoMesh Duo
Discuss Mesh Networking using industry terminology
Design a basic MotoMesh Duo network
Install and configure MotoMesh Duo devices using MeshManager
Monitor and troubleshoot a MotoMesh Duo Network
Recommended Class size: 12
Duration: 2 full days.

Course Prerequisites
Students for this course are expected to have
Basic understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) fundamentals
IP addressing / subnets, MAC addresses, DHCP, DNS
Basic understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) fundamentals
802.11, link budgets, interference
Reviewed Section 1 Meshing Overview
Canopy products will be used in some examples and discussions, but Canopy product training is
not required, or included.
