THE EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION

INTRODUCTORY RITES

Commentator: My dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, Good Morning! We
are all gathered here as Christs people, to witness and celebrate the
Sacrament of Matrimony of Lino & Miraflor as they unfold their lives to a
new beginning. Let us offer our thanks to God for having led them together
in their love. We ask too for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary
that she may bless and grant them the grace to follow the example of the
Holy Family.

Let us therefore, rejoice as we praise and thank God for their love.
For on this special day, two lives unfold into one, human love made divine.

Let us welcome each other and prepare as we begin this celebration.

PROCESSIONAL

Choir: Entrance Song (Processional)

Priest: In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

All: Amen.

Priest: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the
Communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

All: And with your spirit.

Priest: Dearly beloved Lino and Miraflor , truly it is God wanted this
day, who prepared it and made it come true. For God is love
and in some mysterious ways drawn you together in love. But
He leaves you free to make that love grow. The Lord will help
you forge a blessed and happy future, if you work together
towards creating an atmosphere of care, consideration and
respect, if you are willing to face together the tensions and
anxieties that are part of life, and if you diligently do your
responsibilities as husband and wife and hopefully as father
and mother.

Lino and Miraflor , we are gathered around you to thank God
for this special day of your union. We also pray that God will
continue to bless and keep you in His Love for better and for
worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until
death do you part.

Brethren, let us acknowledge our sins and to prepare ourselves
to celebrate the sacred mysteries. (Reflection in Silence)

PENITENTIAL RITE

All: I confess to Almighty God and to you my Brothers and Sisters
that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in
what I have done and in what I have failed to do.
(Striking the breast)
Through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous
fault. Therefore, I ask the Blessed Mary, ever virgin, all the
Angels and Saints and you my brothers and Sisters, to pray for
me to the Lord our God.

Priest: May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins and
bring us to Everlasting Life.

All: Amen.

Choir/All: Kyrie

OPENING PRAYER

Priest: Let us pray,
Be attentive to our prayers, O Lord and in your kindness pour
out your grace on these your servants, Lino and Miraflor
that coming together before your altar, they may be confirmed
in love for one another. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your
Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God forever and ever.

All: Amen.

Commentator: Please be seated.

LITURGY OF THE WORD

FIRST READING

Reader: A Reading from the Book of Genesis (Gen. 2:18-24)

Then the Lord God said It is not good for the man to live
alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him. So he
took some soil from the ground and formed all the animals and
all the birds. Then he brought them to the man to see what he
would name them, and that is how they all got their names, so
the man named all the animals but not one of them was
suitable companion to help him. Then the Lord God made the
man fall into deep sleep and while he was sleeping, He took out
one of the rib and brought her to him. Then the man leaves his
father and mother and is united with his wife and they become
one.
The Word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Psalmist: How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Mighty God, Lord of
All (Please Repeat)

All: How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord Mighty God, Lord of
All

Psalmist: 1. Even the lowly sparrow finds a home for her brood and the
swallow a nest for herself where she may lay here young in
your altars my king and my God (Response)

2. Blessed are they whose dwelling is Your own Lord of peace,
Blest are they refreshed by springs and by rain when dryness
daunts and scathes behold my shield my King and my God
(Response)

3. I would forsake a thousand other days anywhere if I could
spend one day in Your courts belong to you alone, My Glory,
My King and My God!
(Response)

SECOND READING

Reader: A reading from the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians (Cor.
13:4-8, 13)
Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud;
love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not
keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil; but is
happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope
and patience never fail. Love is eternal. There are inspired
messages but they are temporary, there are gifts of speaking in
strange tongues, but they will cease, there is knowledge but it
will pass. Meanwhile these remains, Faith, Hope and Love and
the greatest of these is Love.

The Word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

Commentator: Please stand to honor the Holy Gospel.

GOSPEL

Choir/All: Allelluia, Allelluia

Priest: The Lord be with you.

All: And with your spirit.

Priest: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew (Mt.
9:3-6)

Priest: Some Pharisees came to Him to trap Him by asking, Does our
Law allow man to divorce his wife for whatever reason he
wishes? Jesus answered, Havent you read the scripture that
in the beginning the creator made man and woman. And God
said, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother
and live with his wife and the two will become one. Man must
not separate, then, what God has joined together.

The Gospel of our Lord.

All: Praise to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.

LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST

Priest: Lord, you are indeed holy, the fountain of all holiness. Make
Holy therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your
Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for
us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time He
was betrayed and entered willingly into His passion, He took
the bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to His disciples
saying: TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU AND EAT OF IT. FOR THIS IS
MY BODY WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.

In similar way, when supper was ended He took the chalice and
once more giving thanks and He gave it to His disciples saying:
TAKE THIS ALL OF YOU AND DRINK FROM IT FOR THIS IS THE
CJALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND
ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU
AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, DO THIS IN
MEMORY OF ME.

The Mystery of Faith.

Choir/All: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Priest: Therefore as we celebrate the memorial of his death and
resurrection we offer you, Lord, the Bread of life and the
Chalice of Salvation, giving thanks that you have held us
worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we
pray that, partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ, we may
be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your
church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the
fullness of charity, together with Francis our Pope and
Leonardo our Bishop, and all the clergy. Remember also our
brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the hope of the
resurrection and all who have died in your mercy, welcome
them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us, we pray,
that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with the
Blessed Apostles and all the saints who have pleased you
throughout the ages, we may merit to be coheirs to eternal life
and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

Through him and with him and in him O God, Almighty Father,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours
forever and ever.

All: Amen
