RATIONALE

Health and Welfare have been the focus of social sciences developing a strong corpus of knowledge regarding
the field. Interdisciplinary research has prolonged these efforts to comprehend how welfare states influence
societal structures and how health is shaped by these evolving dynamics.
Our aim is to put in perspective health issues from different theoretical backgrounds as well as empirical
settings, privileging interdisciplinary and/or comparative perspectives. Indeed, a dialogue among disciplines and
fieldwork can put into focus critical issues of welfare and health in globalized societies.

collaborate. Original research articles, but also In-depth Reviews, Cases Reports, book reviews covering (but
not limited to) the following topics:

Human rights, equality (or inequality) and health
