Make a NTLDR boot disk to get back into Windows.

The quick test to make sure your OS installation is still good is to create an MBR and
NTLDR on a floppy disk and check your partitions, this disk ill check many of the
partitions for a orking indos installation! "ere are the instructions to do this#

your computer gets past the B-OS screen your computer should try to access the &oot disk

This file is set up to automatically select the 7$ST TRD T"-S7 choice after ;: seconds! Try it

This7 selection screen, it ill gi*e you a prompt here you can select Safe Mode, and then
try the 7$st Try This7 option again! Safe Mode is a special 7minimal7 *ersion of .indos
that doesn5t load certain parts of the operating system that might ha*e caused the pro&lem!
One of the choices should e*entually &oot you &ack into .indos! ).hat if none of the
options orked6+ !
Use windows to fix the boot fies on the hard dri!e.
-f you got &ack into .indos, stop hate*er you are doing and &ackup your most important
information from this computer!
No that you are done &acking up the most important info, try to change &ack hate*er you
ere last doing and &oot normally, it that doesn5t ork, put the floppy &ack into the &roken
computer and dou&le click the fi/ntldr!&at file on the floppy dri*e, if it asks you to o*errite
a file, 8ust type in y for yes )the file copies &oot!ini, ntldr, ntdetect!com from the floppy to the
2#E dri*e and remo*es the read only attri&utes+! That process take a fe minutes, then remo*e
the floppy and re&oot!
-f you are using the cd or us& solution, copy the &oot!ini, ntldr, and ntdetect!com files to My
2omputer @ Local Disk 2#E @ and o*erite hate*er files might &e there, then right click
each file, choose properties, uncheck the Read Only attri&ute, and click O=!
-f you get &ack into .indos again, you can change that 7$st Try This7 menu &y going into
Start @ 2ontrol Banel @ System @ ?d*anced ta& @ Startup and Reco*ery section, Settings
&utton @ System StartupA then change the 7Default Operating System#7 to the selection that
orked for you, and change the &o/ that says 7Time to display list of operating systems7 to
