XSYS Presents ENVISION 2014

The Systems Association of XIMB (XSYS) invites entries as part of its article writing
event for its annual magazine X-ITe. The magazine is to be released on occasion of the Annual
Business Conclave, Envision 2014.

The article writing topic is based on the theme of Envision-2014


ERP in the Cloud and the Modern Business


With the commencement of E-Business and the need to increase multiple sources of information
within the enterprise, ERP software has emerged as a major area for many businesses. It is
universally recognized by large and small to medium enterprises that the capability of providing
the right information at the right time brings tremendous rewards for the company. Cloud
Computing is changing and shaping the IT strategies of businesses today. ERP on Cloud will be
the next game changer for businesses across the world.

Envision, the brainchild of XSys - the Systems Association of XIMB, is a National Level
IT Summit and was started as an initiative to expose budding managers of the future to the
various aspects of Information Technology, from its diverse opportunities to its challenges.
Envision-2014 provides an opportunity to young managers to understand IT from organizational
and corporate standpoint by inviting eminent personalities and academia to share their wisdom
and experiences in the field of IT.

As a pre-cursor to Envision-2014, XSys launches a Paper Writing Competition on issues
relevant to the theme of Envision-2014. Apart from winning cash prizes, the best 3 articles will
be published in the upcoming corporate edition of X-ITe magazine which is widely circulated
among the industry and premier academic institution by XSYS.

Submission Guidelines

Please adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Entries are invited from students of all full time management students.
2. Prizes: 1

prize- Rs. 4,000 with certificate of merit, 2
nd
prize- Rs. 2,500 with certificate
of merit, 3
rd
prize- Rs 1500
3. The deadline for the article submission is: <Tuesday 15/7/2014 23:59:59 hrs>
4. Send in your article in .doc or .docx format, Font size: 12, Font: Times New Roman
5. Team Size: Maximum 2 members. Team members can be from different colleges.

7. We encourage the use of relevant pictures/tables/images to enhance your article. All the
tables and images should have proper numbered title above and source at the bottom of
the table / images.
8. Please name your file as: <Team name>_<College>_<Article Title>
9. Subject line: Entry For X-ITe <Team name>_<College>
10. Ensure that there is no plagiarism and all references are clearly mentioned.
11. Articles must be original and not already published or to be published
12. Kindly send one picture (Not exceeding 500 KB) for the magazine.
