WhoisJasonMcLendonandwhatmakeshimqualifiedtorunthis
program?First,therereallyarenoparticularqualificationstorunthis
program.Therearenootherprogramsinexistence(knownbyus)that
haveattemptedtoprovidethecurriculumandauthenticaccreditationthis
institutionisseeking.Inaddition,thereareprobablymanyotherpeople
whoaremuchmorequalifiedthanJasonMcLendontodothis,butthey
aren'tdoingit!However,hereissomebackgroundinformation:
Academically,heholdsaMastersDegreeandservedasafaculty
memberforWebsterUniversity,teachingatthegraduatelevelinthe
BusinessandOrganizationalSecurityManagementProgram.Froma
martialartsperspective,hehaspracticedforovertwentyseven
years.Asamilitarydependentandmember,helivedinmanylocations
aroundtheworldandhadtheopportunitytostudyandreceiveranking
inseveralmartialarts.HecurrentlyholdsaYondan(4thDegreeBlack
Belt)inKarateaswellasDanrankinginseveralotherarts.
PriortotheestablishmentoftheAmericanMartialArtsCollege,heran
threeothersuccessfulbusinesses,includingtwoKaratedojo(bothof
whicharestillinoperation)andaprivatesecurityagency.Inaddition,
hecofoundedthenationallyacclaimedCommunityAntiTerrorism
TrainingInstitute,anonprofitcorporation.
Mr.McLendonspenttenyearsintheUSAirForceasanAnti
TerrorismOfficerandPoliceOfficer,includingservingasthe
commanderofamilitarySWATTeam.Hislastmilitaryassignment
wasastheDeputyDirectorofTrainingfortheAirForceSecurity
Forces,whichincludedmanagingtrainingandeducationalprogramsfor
allaspectsoflawenforcementandsecuritytrainingfortheentireAir
Force.HealsoservedasaninstructorforseveralDepartmentof
Defenselevelantiterrorismtrainingprograms,includingteachinglaw
enforcementandmilitaryhandtohanddefensivetactics,nonlethal
weaponsemployment,andprogramdevelopment.
