FOREWORD
"Whoever makes the Hereafter his goal, Allah makes his heart rich,
and organizes his affairs, and the world comes to him whether it
want to or not. And whoever makes the world his goal, Allah puts his
poverty right before his eyes, and disorganizes his affairs, and the
world does not come to him, except what has been decreed for him.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi: Vol. 4, Book 11, Hadith 2465

All praises to Allah who organize the affairs of a Muslim with sincere
faith and correct knowledge; He prioritize some matters in the
religion and multiply rewards in special period and places. May the
peace and blessings of Allah be on His messenger, Muhammad .
This booklet has been carefully designed to assist you plan as a
fasting Muslim throughout the blessed month of Ramadan. Ramadan is
a rare opportunity that can be appreciated with proper planning and
implementation. Schedule is best managed when written in order.
The message in the opening hadith was a noble call into the hearts of
Muslims. This glorious call is especially important in our modern time
where immoralities and the lowliest of worldly matters have been
glorified to be most attractive while the sacred moral values reduced
to estranged objects of ridicule in order to embarrass its adherents.
A focused Muslim who organizes his affairs with faith, gentleness,
contentment and proper implementation of the advices contained in
true Guidance will enjoy the best of inner peace and easiest
fulfillment of his lofty goals and ambitions.
We have highlighted possible distractions and hope to assist you
organize your sincere plans in order to maximize this Ramadan. Accept
our best wishes and prayers for you and do not forget us in your dua.

I AM A FASTNG MUSLIM
O ye who believe!

Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those
before you, that you may become pious
(Al-Quran 2:183)
TIPS: Only few general examples given here. Write down the list of your peculiar
plans and to-do, daily and ahead, for easy reminder. Tick the ones you achieved, and
assess yourself against the next day. A brief guide to expected daily activities and a
master assessment sheet is provided as appendixes attached to this booklet.

A REWARD FOR FASTING


Abu Sa`id narrated from the prophet ():

Anyone who fasts for one day for Allah's sake, Allah will keep his face away
from the Hellfire for (a distance covered by a journey of) seventy years.

ETIQUETTES OF FASTING

Fasting is a shield; so when one of you is fasting he should neither

indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice in anger. If


someone attacks him or insults him, let him say: "I am fasting!"

who fast and get nothing from their fast except hunger, and there are those
who pray and get nothing from their prayer but a sleepless night.

and we make our children to fast. We went to the mosque and made toys
of wool for them (children) and when anyone felt hungry and wept for food
we give them these toys till it was the time to break the fast.

SIX FAST IN SHAWWAL

Abu Ayuub Al Ansari (RA) reported Allah's Messenger ( )as saying: He


who observed the fast of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts)
of Shawwal, it would be as if he fasted a whole year."
(Sahih Muslim Book 13, Hadith 264)
