Rules and Regulations
1) The participant(s) should be citizens of India, residing in India to qualify for the contest. The
participant(s) should be between the age group of 16 years and 35 years only.
2) In the event the participant(s) are below the age of 18 years, the participant(s) can be accompanied by
either of his /her parents and/or the companion. The parent and /or the companion shall be solely
responsible in connection with the participation by the minor and any selection procedure in connection
with the competition.
3) The participation of any participant(s) below the age of 18 years shall be construed that the
participant(s) has participated, with the consent of his/her parent and/or legal guardian and that the
parents and/or legal guardian shall be liable for all the obligations/responsibility to be performed by the
participant(s). Any thing done by the participant below the age of 18 years shall be considered to be
done with the consent of the parent/legal guardian.
4) Neither the participant(s) nor his parents or legal guardian, shall have any criminal record
/antecedents.
5) Proof of age is a must of the participant(s) and must be submitted to Garuda mall management and/or
its representatives (i.e., birth certicate/10th class leaving certicate/School certicate/passport/an
afdavit signed by a magistrate).
6) In the unlikely event of participant(s) failing to appear/participate in the Quarter nal, Semi nal and
Finals of the Voice of Bangalore Season 7, the representatives of the Garuda mall management shall
be entitled to select another participant and announce that person as the seminalist or nalist in place
of the earlier person.
7) Garuda mall management reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing rules and
regulations without prior notice. It shall be the sole responsibility of the participant(s) to check the rules
and regulations for the auditions. The winners cannot exchange the opportunity to participate in the
auditions of the program for items and/or for cash.
8) The winners would be liable to pay the gift tax, the road tax, insurance, on road charges and any such
other tax/charges levied on the ex factory price of the vehicle.
9) The participant(s) shall make himself/herself available from time to time and co-operate with Garuda
mall management or its representatives and participate in any activity and/or campaign (promotional
activity) of any nature whatsoever without any money payable to the participant(s). Further, the
participant(s) shall at no point of times refuse or disagree to participate in any such promotional activity
for any reason whatsoever. All rights to the footage of any nature with regard to the promotional activity
and/or the contest shall vest with Garuda mall management, including but not limited to all intellectual
property rights and any other for worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all media, by and/or any
medium and/or technology.
10) Garuda mall management and/or its representative shall have the right to exploit the contest and/or the
auditions and/or the program and any material in connection with the auditions and/or the program
including have the right to syndicate, license to third party, edit, cut, translate, dub, package or alter the
same, and to combine them with other material for any purposes.
11) Further, Garuda mall management and/or its representative shall have the right to edit, alter and
modify the materials in connection to the contests, the auditions and/or the program to the extent
necessary for scheduling, technical purpose and censorship approval provide that such editing shall
not so far as possible, impair the integrity or quality of the contests, the auditions and/or the program.
12) Garuda mall management reserves the right to cancel the entry of participant(s) including after the
participant(s) is announced the winners of the contest. For avoidance of doubt the disqualied
participant(s) agree that all the intellectual property rights in and to the performance shall continue to
vest with Garuda and in perpetuity, without any consideration payable to the disqualied participant(s)
including the winners.
13) No dispute of any nature whatsoever, with regard to the selection procedure of the contest or the
auditions, shall be raised by the participant(s) and/or any family members of the participant(s).
14) The participant(s) and his/her companion (if any) shall maintain decorum during the auditions and
follow all the instruction given by the representatives of Garuda mall management.
15) Upon intimation from the organizer of the program that the winner has won the contest, the winners
must furnish all the documents which Garuda mall management or its representatives request from
winners in the event, the winners fails to furnish the documents requested; the winners shall be
disqualied without assigning any reasons.
16) The song sung by the participant(s) should be in good taste and not obscene, vulgar, libelous,
defamatory, insulting, annoying, or which hurts the religious sentiments of anybody, in any manner
whatsoever. if found otherwise, Garuda mall management reserves the right not to select the
participant(s) and no dispute of any nature what's over shall be raised by the participant(s) in this
regard.
17) The participant(s) shall not be a Playback singer. If it found at later stage Garuda mall management
and/or its representatives reserve the right to disqualify the participant(s).
18) The participant(s) shall do any and all acts and executed any all documents in such a manner and at
such location as may be required by Garuda mall management in its sole discretion to protect, perfect
or enforce any of the rights granted or conformed to Garuda mall management herein. in the event, the
participant(s) is below the age of 18 years, the parents and/or legal guardian of such a participant(s)
shall do any and all the acts and execute any and all documents in such manner and at such location as
may be required by Garuda mall management in its sole discretions to protect, perfect or enforce any of
the rights granted or conrmed to Garuda mall management herein.
19) The participant(s) agrees that he/she shall hold harmless Garuda mall management, its afliates, its
group companies, the volunteers, their employees, ofcers, or any other person in relation to contest
and/or the auditions from any injury/damage/harm/loss suffered by him/her, in any manner,
whatsoever in connection with the contest and/or the auditions and waives all rights to le in
person/through any family members and/or third party any applications, criminal and/or civil
proceedings in any courts or forum in India against the person named above, to claim damages or
relief's.
20) Garuda mall management or its representatives reserved the right to stop/discontinue the contest(s) or
the auditions, for any reason whatsoever, any time it deems t without prior notice in connection
thereto. in the event, the contest or the auditions are discontinued for any reasons whatsoever Garuda
mall management and/or its representatives shall not be responsible to compensate the participant(s)
or shall be responsible for any arrangements made in connection thereto. Neither Garuda mall
management nor its representatives shall be responsible to inform the participant(s) in advance, in the
event, Garuda mall management decides to discontinue the contest and/or the auditions.
21) Neither Garuda mall management nor the producer nor any representatives shall be responsible in any
manner whatsoever, for any injury, death, mental trauma caused to the participant(s) or the companion
(if any) manner whatsoever, in connection to the contest and/or the auditions and/or the program.
22) Employees of Garuda mall management, and all the employees of the entities associated with this
program cannot participate in the contest.
23) Garuda mall management reserves the right to disqualify a participant(s) incase a discrepancy is found
to exist in the information furnished/provide/stated by the participant(s) during the conservation with
Garuda mall management and/or its representatives and in the information's stated in the documents
furnished by the participant(s).
24) The participation of the participant(s) in the auditions shall mean that the participant(s) has read,
understood, accepted and agrees to abide with all the rules including the general rules of the auditions.
25) Garuda mall management may in its sole discretion exclude contestants from participation in the
contest which may include without limitation.
A) A circumstance which, in Garuda mall management's view, renders the contestants unt to participate
therein.
B) Inability to produce documentation required by Garuda mall management and/or its representatives in
the rules and/or at any given point of the time.
26) Garuda mall management may in its sole discretion exclude a companion from accompanying the
winners. Upon receipt of such a notice from Garuda mall management and/or the representatives, the
parents shall immediately replace the companion with another companion.
27) The terms of this rules and regulations shall be constructed in accordance with the laws of India and
incase of any dispute or other matter arising in reference to the contest shall be referred to a sole
arbitrator appointed by Garuda mall management and shall be governed by the arbitration and
conciliation act,1996,amended from time to time. The venue for arbitration shall be Bangalore, in
English language. The cost, charges and expenses including legal expenses shall be solely borne by
the participant(s).
28) Please note that the participant(s) should sing Hindi and Kannada songs only.
29) The producer shall have the right to publish the content of the audition in print and television media and
the Artist shall not have any objection for such publication.
