cafe connect becomes holiday connect

For the next seven weeks, cafe connect is expanding-
opening the doors of the cafe wide to invite all of our
community, especially families to come and join us, both
inside the cafe and outside on the grass and patio.

Every Monday morning between 10.30 and 12.30, do drop by
and say hello at the Wallington Library cafe- buy your
refreshments and relax & have a chat.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Dont forget to have a look at the pictures from
our great community day, listen to Lees
testimony and share with your friends.

Visions of the prophets
God has given visions for a purpose to his people. They break
open our world and our imaginations. They speak into parts of us
that other ways cant. They speak of hope even when hope
seems in short supply. They are given for such a time as this.
This summer we are going to look at some of the great visions
from the Old Testament and see how they relate to Jesus and our
faith today and how they can still inspire a new hope in us today.
The picture above was taken inside Bethlehem and shows the
wall that keeps Palestinians and Israelis separated, where hope
can be in short supply.
