SW1 – SCOPE: The work called for by these specifications shall consist of furnishing all
equipment, labor, and materials needed for the repair of Buildings 103, 107, 113 and 115 as
described below in SW4 – Detail.
The work shall be performed in accordance with all federal and local codes and is subject to
the terms and conditions of the contract.
SW2 – GENERAL: All work shall be done by labor skilled in the type of work involved.
Any damages caused by the Contractor’s operations shall be repaired or replaced by the
Contractor at no cost to the Government.
SW4—DETAIL:
A. Bldg. 103; CMU structure approx., 60 s.f., 8’-0” in height. One door, one window.
Wood roof framing and deck. Concrete slab on grade.
B. Bldg. 107; CMU structure, approx. 800 s.f., 12’-0” in height. Two double doors, two
windows. Steel roof framing and deck. Concrete slab on grade.
C. Bldg. 115; CMU structure, approx. 800 s.f., 16’-0” in height. Two single doors, eight
windows, two overhead doors. Steel roof framing and deck. Concrete slab on grade.
D. Bldg. 116; CMU structure, approx. 30 s.f., 8’-0” in height. One door. Wood roof
framing and deck. Concrete slab on grade.
Approval Procedure;
A. Bldg 107
1. All existing debris, furnishings and abandoned equipment.
2. All doors and windows
3. All mechanical equipment.
4. All electrical fixtures, devices and equipment.
5. Entire suspended ceiling assembly
6. All interior partitions, including CMU walls.
7. Entire built up roofing assembly.
8. All vegetation and trees within 15’ of building.
9. All interior wood flooring.
B. Bldg 115
1. All existing debris, furnishings and abandoned equipment.
2. All doors and windows.
3. All electrical fixtures.
4. Entire built up roofing assembly.
5. All metal roof deck.
6. Interior trolley system.
7. All vegetation and trees within 15’ of building.
8. All metal roof deck.

A. Bldg. 107
1. Remove all steel plating over conduit trenches.
2. Chip generator pads to a point 2” below mean floor level below mean floor
level.
3. Fill conduit trenches with RCA and compact to a point 4” below mean floor
level.
4. Screed 2,800 psi concrete in affected areas bringing flush to mean floor level

A. Bldg. 115
1. Furnish and install 1 ½”, 20ga. galvanized “B” deck over entire roof area.
Screw to existing roof beams 12” on center.
2. Repair and make operable all window guards.
B. Bldg. 107
1. Replace 100 s.f. of roof deck in areas where existing is deteriorated. Screw to
existing roof joists 12” on center.
2. Furnish and install stationary 1 ½”, 10 gauge woven wire window guards to
all window openings.
C. Bldg. 103
1. Furnish and install stationary 1 ½”, 10 gauge woven wire window guard to
window opening.

1. Repair and make operable two, steel chain drive overhead doors.

A. Bldg. 107
1. Verify that all electric power to building has been
disconnected.
2. Furnish and install two exterior wall packs with photo cells.
3. Furnish and install two Emergency/Exit combos.
4. Furnish and install ten, 4’, 4 light, T-5 industrial fixtures.
5. Furnish and install one motion/occupancy sensor switch.
6. Furnish and install four, 110 volt receptacles.
7. Furnish and install new sub-panel and underground feeder.

B. Bldg. 115
1. Furnish and install four exterior wall packs with photo cells.
2. Furnish and install two Emergency/Exit combos.
3. Furnish and install ten, 4’, 4 light, T-5 industrial fixtures.
4. Furnish and install one motion/occupancy sensor switch.
5. Furnish and install four, 110 volt receptacles.
6. Refurbish existing panel and disconnect.
SW 7 – CLEAN UP: The Contractor is responsible for the clean up of all debris and
discarded materials resulting from his operations at the end of each workday. Materials shall
be disposed of off-Site in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. In
case of conflict among these laws and regulations, the most stringent law or regulation will
apply.
SW 10– UTILITIES: Existing utility lines, electric, will be available to the Contractor for
his use. Any extension of or connections to the above lines and their restoration to original
condition and removal of extension and connections will be at the expense of the Contractor.
The above utilities will be providing at no cost, as needed to perform this contract. All
connections to existing utilities shall be coordinated with the 99th RSC North, DPW.
SW 12 If additional information regarding the scope of work is required the POC is Area
