AHFweldedjointisnarrow,whichisfavourablefortheuniformqualityofthesteeltube.Thankstoaccuratelylocalisedheat
inputduringHFwelding,thesofteningoftheweldtypicallyoccurringinhardenedsteelislimitedtoanarrowzone.

RaexsteeltubehasthesameweldinginstructionsasRaex400steelgrade.TheweldabilityofRaex400Tubeisgoodand
itcanbeweldedusingallcommonweldingtechniques.Howeverbuttweldsarenotrecommendedtouseinjoiningtubes
together due to risk of losing some of the hardness in the HAZ. It is recommended to weld with as low heat input as
possible,witheithermatchingorundermatchingconsumables,dependingontheapplicationandlocationoftheweld.
