Women in parliament
The countries are ranked and colour-coded according to the percentage
of women in unicameral parliaments or the lower house of parliament,
reecting elections/appointments up to 1 January 2014.
The total includes deputy prime ministers and ministers. Prime ministers/heads of
government were also included when they held ministerial portfolios. Vice-presidents
and heads of governmental or public agencies have not been included.
