the existing systems in place.

Methodology-
The methodology for our group will be basically as a learner and observer. We will be doing
primary and secondary research for the same. For the collection of primary data, we will be
communicating with the employees of Cadbury India Ltd., Ghaziabad. For primary data we will
be using surveys, reports and journals on ERP implementation. Some of the methods that will
be used are
Contact an employee of the firm at the IT department / internet for data
Understand the business of Cadbury and their organizational structure
Study their legacy systems.
Gather data on their limitations
Compare present data with pre implementation data to identify the effects of ERP

Expected contributions and outcomes-
This project will be very beneficial for us as it will not only give us practical knowledge of ERP
but will also help us know the problems faced by corporate industry more closely. We expect a
positive contribution from our research and its findings to enhance our knowledge and
understanding of ERP and it functioning in one of Indias most prestigious organizations, and
hope to arrive at all the possible solutions for the methodology describes above. Apart from
this we will also know what resulted in failure of ERP in many companies and on the other hand
the same ERP system increased profits for some other company. We hope to understand how
Cadbury managed to-
Implement ERP successfully
What was the basic objective for implementing ERP?
What benefits Cadbury had post-implementation?

LIMITATIONS
The various limitations that we are expecting are-
To extract data from any company is going to be a tough task, because the employees in
most of the companies are not eager to provide outsiders with the company data.
The accuracy of the data provided is not guaranteed.
The actual drawback and difficulty faced by the company in implementation of ERP
cannot be figured out with information given by employees.
