PRE- COLLEGE STUDENT VISA APPLICATION

A. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Submission of application documents / Payment of initial fee
2. Application to immigration
3. Issuance of the "Certificate of Eligibility" from immigration to school
4. Notice of school to R&R CO., LTD / Notice of R&R CO., LTD. to applicant
5. Payment of final fee
6. Send "Certificate of Eligibility" and "Certificate of Admission" to applicant
7. Apply for "Pre-College Student Visa" to Japan Embassy in Philippines
8. Issuance of "Pre-College Student Visa"
9. Go through the entrance formalities to Japan



B. SCHOOL YEAR

1. April
Course: 2 years
Application Period: September-October of the previous year
Release of Certificate of Eligibility: February

2. July
Course: 1 year & 9 months
Application Period: January-February
Release of Certificate of Eligibility: May

3. October
Course: 1 year & 6 months
Application Period: March-April
Release of Certificate of Eligibility: August

4. January
Course: 1 year & 3 months
Application Period: July-August of the previous year
Release of Certificate of Eligibility: November of the previous year













C. REQUIREMENT

Applicant:

-Photo (size: 4cm x 3cm / quantity: 8pcs)
-Copy of Passport (photo & back page)
-Copy of Valid ID at Country of Residence (front & back page)
-Original Diploma
-Original Transcript of Records (Form 137 for High School Graduate)
-Copy of Proof of Relationship to the Guarantor (e.g. Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate etc.)

Guarantor:

-Copy of Passport (photo & back page)
-Copy of Valid ID at Country of Residence (front & back page)
-Certificate of Employment
Note: If self-employed, submit the Business License
-Certificate of Tax Statement / Certificate of Salary
-Certificate of Bank Balance
Note: Amount should be not less than JPY1,500,000 or PHP675,000
(as per present currency rate)

NOTE:
The guarantor should be a relative of the applicant.
Application forms will be prepared by R&R CO., LTD.
Additional requirement may apply depending on the case of the applicant.



D. FEE

Ini t i al Payment :
JPY 150,000 or PHP 67,500 (as per present currency rate)

This amount includes the application fee, selection fee, visa processing fee, assistance fee and
Japanese language tutorial fee while waiting for the release of visa.
This amount should be paid upon the submission of all application requirements.
In case of the denial of the issuance of visa, JPY 50,000 or PHP 22,500 paid amount will be
returned back.













Fi nal Payment :
JPY 407,800 or PHP 183,510 (as per present currency rate)

This amount includes the tuition fee of six months [JPY 289,800 or PHP 130,410], entrance
fee, textbook fee and facility fee.
This amount should be paid after the release of the Certificate of Eligibility.




REMARK:

The student is eligible to apply for part-time work permit while holding the "Pre-College Student
Visa" status thus allowing him/her to support his/her living and school expenses in Japan.
