DTM Library software component. Please read the complete document before you
start the installation and operation of the product.

%n order to install Unity Pro PlantStruxure DTM Library software
component6 you must ha0e administrati0e pri0ile!es.

a Download the installer files
b 8efore startin! the installation6 please ma1e sure to close any
runnin! instances of Unity Pro
c $un Setup.exe to install the update.
d 7fter the installation is complete6 launch Unity Pro and update
the DTM catalo!.

Panel.
%f you ha0e already installed Unity Pro PlantStruxure DTM Library6 the
installer !i0es you options to Modify6 $emo0e or $emo0e Unity Pro
PlantStruxure DTM Library.
Note- To Modify or $epair6 Unity Pro PlantStruxure DTM Library
installer should be a0ailable.

*hen enablin! BoS for the 'on0er!ed #thernet modules as a client or
ori!inator ensure that all de0ices scanned support BoS ta!!in!. %t has been
obser0ed that some de0ices will not operate properly if they donDt support BoS.

Unity Pro F#xport ProEectF function ;.xef file< is not supported for
applications usin! the 'on0er!ed #thernet modules.
Use FSa0e 7rchi0eF option ;.sta file< to ensure the upward?downward
compatibility.
2 8uildin! DTM28ased 7pplications
Unity Pro applications that include DTM files reCuire more memory than
traditional Unity Pro applications.

%f the amount of memory reCuired by an application exceeds the amount of
memory that is a0ailable in the 'PU6Unity Pro pro0ides notice of this condition
durin! the build process6 before the application is downloaded to the PL'.
*hen this situation occurs6 you must exclude the additional upload2related
information from the application to complete the build and enable the
application download.

To do this6 ma1e the followin! confi!uration chan!e in Unity Pro)
Step 1) %n the main menu6 select Tools 2G ProEect Settin!s... The ProEect Settin!s
window opens.
Step ) %n the left pane of the ProEect Settin!s window6
select "eneral 2G PL' embedded data.
Step ,) %n the ri!ht pane6 de2select Upload %nformation.
Step /) 'lic1 &H to sa0e your chan!es and close the ProEect Settin! window.
7fter the Upload information settin! is disabled6 you can build the application
and download it to the PL'.
A&T#) 7n application in which the Upload information settin! has been
disabled cannot later be uploaded from the PL' to the P'.

DTM2based applications that were successfully downloaded to Unity Pro with
the proEectIs Upload information settin! enabled can later be uploaded from
the PL' to the P' if the tar!et P' has the followin! files pre2installed on it)
;a< a 0ersion of Unity Pro that is eCual to or hi!her than the 0ersion used to
create the application
;b< the master DTMs for the modules included in the confi!uration
;c< the DTMs for all DTM2based de0ices attached to the networ1 ;the DTMs must
be of the same or hi!her re0ision as each de0ice DTM used in the confi!uration<

7fter all the abo0e components ha0e been installed on the tar!et P'6 you can
upload a DTM2based Unity Pro application from a PL'.
