The main purpose of this special workshop supported by the School of Humanities and Communication Arts,
University of Western Sydney and Fairfield Council for Bilingualism is to highlight the potentials and challenges of
raising bilingual children. The presenters are leading international experts whose main area of expertise is childhood
and community bilingualism. Participants of this workshop will have the rare opportunity to share their experiences
and to learn from distinguished leaders in the field. Local participants will enjoy shared knowledge and insights with
UWS academics and students who are future educators and bilingualism workers at this special workshop
