IMPORTANT
1. If the travel destination includes more than one Member State, the Schengen visa must
be applied for at the consulate of the main destination. The main destination is
understood to be the destination where the main purpose of the intended journey
is carried out, if that cannot be determined, it is where the applicant intends to
spend the longest time.
If during a trip the traveller is spending equal time in more than one Schengen territory,
the visa must be applied for at the consulate of the Member State whose external border
the applicant intends to cross first.

discretion of the onsular Authority. !here is no legal right to a visa.

,. t is not recommended that tra-el arrangements be paid for prior to the granting of
the -isa. 'owever, rele-ant proof of tra-el and accommodation '"$"'(ATON$
must be submitted at your appointment.
.. !he various types of visas each have their period of resolution and it is not possible to
accelerate the resolution process. (isa applications must be presented at least
fifteen /1,0 calendar days prior to the intended date of tra-el, and no more than
three /)0 months prior to tra-el. In certain cases, the period of resolution of some
applications may ta$e up to () days.

the deadlines in place at the "mbassy. If an applicant insists on lodging an application
less than *+ calendar days before the intended departure, the applicant is duly advised
that the final decision on his,her application may be ta$en after the intended date of
