The Jetty Specialist, as a registered quality supplier
to Local and State Government, has been the
successful tenderer for the design and construction
of many and varied foating walkway structures at
locations throughout Queensland for the recreational
boating enthusiast at high volume boat ramps.
These foating walkways provide a safe and effcient
platform for the launching and retrieval of trailer boats
by all age groups utilising these public boat ramps.
Each site is assessed by our independent consulting
engineers and a site specifc analysis is conducted
which takes into account any local geotechnical
information of the sea bed, the water depths,
wind directions, wind strengths, tidal currents and
possible wave heights that may occur.
Some of these completed projects for Qld Transport,
are:
Cairns & Lucinda Boat Ramps

Ausfoat modular pontoons were designed to provide
maximum fexibility in dynamic wave climates whilst
also allowing for maximum fexibility in design layout.
The Ausfoats unique connection by rubber Y
bones allow for the easy removal of the pontoons at
locations that endure extreme weather events and
for the relocation of the system or individual modules
when a change to an existing layout is required.
Ausfoats have been used for many applications
including the following:
1. Under Bridge maintenance platforms.
2. Fish cage supports and feeding pontoons in
Aquaculture farms.
3. Work Platforms.
4. Floating walkways at boat ramps.
Ausfoat is suitable for many more applications that
are too numerous to list.
Some Ausfoat sites and projects are:
Marine and Safety Tasmania Various locations
as foating walkways at boat ramps.
Parks Victoria Fishing platforms and foating
walkways as numerous lakes throughout the
