. We have two business units now: Transfusion Diagnostics, which includes our tr
aditional serology products; and Transplant and Molecular Diagnostics, which inc

Network Engineer to join our team.

Network Engineer Network Administrator IT Information Technology
Job Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer, you will provide administration and technical support on
all pertinent network and computer operating systems. Your activities will inclu
de analyzing logs, account administration, maintaining system hardware, software
, and peripherals, system troubleshooting, system backups, and on-call support.

Other responsibilities of the Engineering role include:
Monitoring and assigning Helpdesk support calls
Handling administration of all switches and routers
Assisting with the administration of all servers production and test
Troubleshooting and repairing operating systems and hardware
Installing and configuring devices, servers, and applications
Setting user rights and permissions to system resources
Providing 3rd level support for I.S. related issues
Monitoring system, servers, and applications for errors and performance problems
Tuning operating systems and hardware for optimal performance
Developing scripts for automating processes
Building and running cables
Evaluating, testing, and designing resources such as internet, applications, etc
.
Maintaining and monitoring server logs
Performing performance analysis on production and test environments

Job Requirements

Successful candidates of the Network Engineer position will have a positive atti
tude with strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability t
o work in a fast-paced environment.

Other requirements of the Engineering role include:
Associates or bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of training and exp
erience
Experience troubleshooting and repairing computer operating system and hard
ware
Technical and strategic understanding of servers, storage, and networking t
echnologies
Expertise in installing and configuring network devices, servers, and appli
cations
