Austenitic-ferritic Cr-Ni-Mo 22/12/13 coated electrode, especially suited for joining and
coating highgrade and poor-weldability steels. Wide application in joining stainless steels with
mild or low-alloy steels. Its high alloying proportions ensure crack-resistant welds when
joining and cladding different materials. The work-hardening weld metal (Brinell hardness up
to 350) is particularly suited for dies and mould making. It provides excellent welding
characteristics, fine drop transfer, smooth bead appearance, easy slag removal and moisture-
proof coating. It is also suitable for cladding high-grade base metals like boiler and fine-
grained structural steels, quenched and tempered and alloy structural steels. It can also be
used to join non-alloy and alloy steels, cast steel, manganese steels, tool steels, die steels,
heat-treatable steels.

If this type of electrode be used for rechargings, the a pré-heating of 250ºC, should be
proceeded in case the recharging is made about steels of high resistance and strong

z DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD:
Bronze-aluminum-manganese coated electrode destined to the welding and recharging of
bronze-aluminum alloys with high content of manganese, as for recharging on carbon steels
and gray cast iron. Due to it great resistance to sea water, it is particularly suitable for the
recharging of propellers and water pumps of ships, being also used in the chemical industry,
where great chemical aggression associated to the erosion is verified. Due to it low attrition
coefficient, it is also indicated for the recharging of shaft, dyes, etc.

z DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD:

Special electrode recommended for chamfering all industrial metals. It is easier to use than
the ARC-AIR traditional method, finding wide application in manufacturing, repairing and
maintenance. This electrode is also suitable for removing corroded metal layers and for
fusion-cutting metallic materials. Easy to use electrode, it generates a high gas pressure,
enabling a clean, smooth and deep cut to be achieved.

z CURRENT ADJUSTMENT:

φ Electrode[mm] 2.5 3.25 4.0 5.0

CURRENT [A] 150 - 250 200 - 300 250 - 400 300 - 500

z CURRENT TYPE: DC (electrode negative) or AC

z CHAMFERING INSTRUCTIONS:
Set up the workpiece so that the molten metal can run-off easily. The electrode should be set
to the base metal as horizontally as possible and kept constantly in contact with it. The
working speed is increased by slight up-and-down sawing movements.
Base metal left on the edge of the groove is easily removed with the slag hammer.

z DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION FIELD:
Alloys specially conceived for coverings on pieces of circular section
that develop little heat, that way avoiding deformations, distortions or
changes in the structure of different base materials where they can be
applied, such as : steel and cast iron, stainless steels, nickel steels,
copper steels and aluminium.
• 9001
Alloy to deposit, always as a union layer. During the projection
operation of that alloy, an exothermic reaction happens that permits
the deposit at a temperature of ±100ºC. That alloy ensures the union
of the alloys 9002, 9003 e 9004.

• 9002
Alloy on the base Ni-Cr-B-Si, of relatively weak hardness, for
coverings of pieces specially subjected to detritions, rollerbearings,
shafts rebounds, valve rods, etc.

• 9003
Alloy on the base Ni-Cr-B-Si, identical to alloy 9002, but harder.

• 9004
Bronze – aluminium alloy, with an excellent attrition coefficient (dry or
with lubrication), special for coverings of bearings, anti-friction
sleeves, valve rods, liners, etc.
