Experience Representing public and private clients throughout West Georgia.
Former County Attorney for Carroll County, Georgia:
Representing county government in all legal matters, including civil litigation and administrative
proceedings, preparing ordinances, opinions of law, enforcing judgments, and other matters under
the jurisdiction of the county government. Clientele included various constitutional officers,
sheriff, board of health, board of assessors, development authority, their respective officers and
employees.
Former Law Clerk: Honorable Dewey Smith, Chief Judge, Georgia Coweta Judicial Circuit.
Professional Local Government Fellow: International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA) in 2006.
Achievements Awarded by IMLA as a reliable benchmark for identifying experienced and knowledgeable
